She sees their potential and demands governments and societies alike to drop their prepossessions and stimulate the available talent. Sihame wants this movement to be bottom-up rather than top-down. Giving youngsters the opportunity to grow and master their skills.

Biography

Sihame El Kaouakibi was born in 1986 and is the founder and coordinator of Let’s Go Urban.

Graduating from Artesis Hogeschool Antwerpen as a primary school teacher in 2008, she plunged wholeheartedly into her areas of personal interest. She is currently pursuing two Master’s Degrees in Education at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and working fulltime on her success story Let’s Go Urban. Her unparalleled drive has also led

her to create her own company, A Woman’s View (previously Youth and Urban Projects), which offers consultancy to and develops concepts for governmental and other organizations involving youths, talent development, urban development, urbanization, urban culture, social innovation, entrepreneurship etc.
